Jeanneau Sun Magic 44 designed by Daniel Andrieu, built in 1988 and registered under the Italian flag. A solid, spacious and seaworthy offshore cruising yacht, suitable for comfortable family cruising and long-distance sailing.
The accommodation comprises four cabins — three double and one triple — nine berths, two marine toilets, a spacious saloon and a well-equipped galley with a three-burner gas cooker, oven and refrigerator.
The current owner purchased the yacht in May 2017 and has since carried out numerous maintenance and improvement works. The boat can be viewed by appointment in Genoa, Italy.

The principal maintenance and improvement works carried out since 2017 include:
• replacement of the propeller and gearbox;
• replacement of the rudder bushing;
• replacement of the seacocks and skin fittings;
• inspection and refitting of the tanks;
• restoration of the seawater circuit;
• replacement of the service and engine batteries;
• renewal of the engine control panel;
• replacement of the muffler, exhaust hose and shaft seal;
• replacement of the saloon headlining and installation of LED lighting;
• repainting of the lockers and bilge;
• installation of the stern shower;
• replacement of the transparent panels in all deck hatches.
KNOWN MAINTENANCE ITEMS
• The liferaft service expired in 2022 and needs to be renewed.
• The existing anchor chain, approximately 50 m long and 10 mm in diameter, has some areas of rust.
• One of the stern mooring fairleads needs to be replaced.
• The boat has remained in the water for approximately three years and needs to be hauled out and treated with a new antifouling cycle.
• The toe rail needs attention, and some stanchions need to be resealed and more securely fastened.
• The mainsail needs to be replaced.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
No recent marine survey is available. Inspection by a surveyor appointed by the buyer and a subsequent sea trial are welcome, subject to prior agreement.
The available documentation and maintenance invoices can be shown to genuinely interested buyers.
