Wooden boat 1965
We are selling a charming wooden boat. It was built in 1965 in Denmark at Faxelade. The boat is a fjord cutter which is caravel built with larch on oak, a flattened transom and a long keel
The boat is 9 meters long, 3 meters wide, 1,5 meters deep and weighs 6,5 tons.
The engine is a Volvo penta MD31A 46KW 62HP. It sailed from Denmark to Vienna without complications, until the water pump and impeller started leaking. A mechanic has offered to fix these issues for 1000€.
The boat sails 7 knots in no current 2500 RPM, and burns 5 liters of diesel per hour.
The boat comes with:

– 6 life vests (4 orange, 2 inflatable)

We slept 4 large men on the boat for a month, the boat houses 3 people comfortably. A table in the cabin seats 5 people.
Reason for selling: Our sailing adventure is over, and we have to return to university in Denmark.
