Our Watersnake Venom SXW electric motors provide saltwater anglers with a versatile range of tiller-mounted motors that are packed with smart features. The Venom SXW range includes five engine designs. The 34lb and 54lb in 26″ short shaft designs are ideal for canoes, tenders, inflatables and small tin boats. The 34 lb/30”, 44 lb/36” and 54 lb/42” are suitable for boats from small sailboats and tin boats to specialty sport fishing boats in estuarine and inshore waters.

The 34lb engines have a two-blade propeller (70mm pitch). The 44lb and 54lb engines each drive a three-blade propeller (94mm pitch). All propeller shafts are stainless steel and the props have a weedless design so you can push the limits on your next adventure. All motors run on 12V power and operate with five forward speeds and three reverse speeds controlled by the throttle on the control stick.

The compact and stylish new Venom engine head design features a new thicker ergonomic handle for the tiller handle. The new head design also includes a digital voltage meter display so you can keep an eye on your battery. The mounts on the alloy crossmember mount have also been improved, making it even easier to attach and secure the engine before using the multi-slope quick-position bracket.

The shafts on all Venom SXW motors are made from an extra strong composite engineered specifically for use in the marine, saltwater environment. The helm handles are telescoping for versatility, comfort and control.
